During yesterday's clinic I had a gentleman come in complaining of years of scaly hand rashes. Something so chronic and in a typical location...surely this would be a symptom of psoriasis.
Alas, it turned out to be a very stubborn and chronic case of fungus or ringworm of the hand, also known as Tinea manum, one of the many mimics of psoriasis.
